Peter Katz: Juno-nominated singer-songwriter, keynote speaker, and facilitator

Hi Folks,

I had the incredible honour of being asked to work with the students of the Waldorf School in Toronto for a few days as they are doing a production of The Laramie Project and are using my song ‘The Fence’ as the closing moment of the show.  These INCREDIBLE students came up with an arrangement of the song and the director (Marianne MacIsaac) asked if I would come in to hear what they had come up with and give any notes. There was little for me to say after they sang for me, it was astonishing.

The show plays tonight and tomorrow at the Waldorf school which is at 9100 Bathurst St #1, Vaughan, ON L4J 8C7.  I know many of you are not in Toronto, but in case you are, tickets are available at the door, show starts at 7:30, I really can’t recommend it enough.  These students give so much to the play and the song, I was so inspired by them.

For those of you who can’t make it to the show, or maybe need a  nudge, I was able to get an audio recording of their version of ‘The Fence’ when I was at rehearsal, have a listen to this:

‘Break a leg’ to these amazing students, take care, Peter
