Hey Folks,
Just thought I’d write you a little hello to let you know that despite not a lot of tour dates happening this summer, I am busy busy writing news songs. I’ve been collaborating with all kinds of different artists, trying new approaches, playing a lot of piano, just trying to shake myself up and see what comes out. We’ll see…
I will be announcing the rest of my European tour dates with Royal Wood very soon and hopefully some Scandinavian ones too, crossing my toes on that front.
Beyond that, I’m going to be spending most of August in the woods, my favourite place, a little calm before the storm that will be the fall.
Hope you’re all having a great summer, I miss playing for you every night, but that schedule will return shortly. In the meantime, take care and see you soon, Peter
n.b. I had the great honour of being asked back to TEDxWaterloo as the surprise musical guest at the end of the last session. Matt (the curator) asked me express my thoughts about the day, off the cuff, and then play my song ‘This Town’. Was a really nice moment for me (the theme of the day was ‘Chasing Home’). Thought I would share that with you. *The audio isn’t fantastic, but you’ll hopefully get the idea (visualize a lot more natural reverb in a gorgeous room full of amazing people)*
