Hi Folks,
I know I already posted about it earlier, but I got excited as I finally figured out what I’m really doing with this little upcoming southern Ontario + Wakefield tour (and what I’m calling it: Peter Katz and his Terrific Two Set Tour! I know… it’s not an earth-shattering title, but it gets the point across). I knew I wanted to play some cool intimate shows in great venues, I knew I wanted to play BRAND new stuff for you, some stuff I rarely/never play, and I knew I wanted to take some requests, just didn’t know how that was all going to work. (Check out this sweet poster that designer Gabrielle Raill made to bring it all together) Here’s how it’s going to work for these shows:
TWO sets
Set 1: Peter’s choice (that’s me)
Set 2: BRAND NEW songs, like brand new, some rarities (album cuts that I never/rarely play) and YOUR requests. The request line is now open, please send your requests to emma@peterkatz.com with the show that you will be attending.
Also, if you don’t have your tickets yet, please get them soon. Several of these shows are very close to being sold out.
